Miss Sofi
Miss Sofi began her dance journey at the age of 4yrs old in Kyogle, NSW before transferring to Casino a year later. At the age of 16 yrs, she successfully auditioned for Queensland Dance School of Excellence where she trained alongside the Queensland Ballet Company. After graduating, Sofi made the move to Sydney to train at Brent Street Studios and ED5 International. After graduating Sofi landed her first professional contract on Sydney Show Boats. Sofi then went on to have a 10-year professional performance career which saw her work all over the world with companies such as, MSC Cruise lines, Star Cruises, Lotte World Korea, Zeenboo Show Gallery Japan and Guian International Theatre, China to name a few. Miss Courteney
Courteney Matthews, 26 years of age and has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Courteney has competed in competitions as a soloist and troupe member since I she was 6 from Coffs Harbour up to Brisbane. After finishing high school, Courteney started teaching up until 5 years ago when I took a break to have children. Dancing has always been her passion being able to express herself as a dancer to then sharing this with her students. Courteney has completed all her ballet exams in the BAL syllabus, tap till an intermediate level and jazz to the highest level. She has participated in BCYB program performing the Nutcracker. In year 8 of schooling Courteney went to PBC and was in the excellence program for dance placing first in the year group. She completed dance as a subject at school receiving a band 6 which is the highest grading in year 12. Her favourite style in dance is lyrical, being able to express yourself and tell a story through your movements. Close behind is contemporary, jazz, ballet and hip hop.
